For Social Science, students should give particular attention to maps, timelines, cause-and-effect relationships, sources, constitutional concepts, democracy and economic reasoning. These skills are more valuable than memorising isolated paragraphs.

Because availability/status has changed, this page links students to the official NCERT portal rather than reproducing an uncertain Part 2 chapter list. Class 8 Marks Weightage & Assessment

Important: Class 8 is not a CBSE board examination class. There is no single national CBSE chapter-wise marks blueprint comparable to the Class 10 or Class 12 board examination.

Schools may distribute marks through periodic tests, term examinations, projects, activities and other school-based assessments. Therefore, the ⭐ priorities on this page are TeachGyan study recommendations, not official marks weightage.

What Should Class 8 Students Study First?
